Photo of the Day: Lunchtime – African Expatriate Style

I don’t know about you guys, but one of my favorite times during the work week is my lunch break. As I have maintained, the work/life balance in Africa is great. During the work week for example, one has ample time to indulge in a good & hearty lunch break, if you so wish.

In this light, allow me to share my work week lunch ritual with you. At around 1pm, SA time, I frequent this posh but cosy little food bar next to my work complex. The ambience is extremely calming, and the food, delicious. I couldn’t ask for a better afternoon booster before heading on back to the office to tackle the rest of my day.
